Hello Beauties
Creating a wedding day that combines natural elements, like wood and cotton, with romantic touches, such as gold and lace, is very simple to do. Giving traditional elements a modern twist will keep the Rustic Romance style fresh. First begin with a natural palette, meaning any color you would find in nature. I especially love soft peach with mint accents for a daytime event or rich aubergine with emerald, for a more glamorous affair. Gold would pair well with either of these choices.
Incorporate both masculine and feminine elements in each area
Every wedding needs a few elements to create a memorable experience, such as a welcome area, guest book display, an escort card display and a favor bar. A giant tree gives the welcome area a sense of strength, while the ornate frames balance that with a feminine touch.
Create unexpected centerpieces
Combine rustic elements, such as wood, cotton or even burlap, with more romantic elements, such as gold jars, hydrangea and lace.
Allow the Bridesmaids to choose their own gown in coordinating colors
This will allow each woman to feel their best (and look their best). Bridesmaids dress manufacturer’s often offer multiple dresses in coordinating colors. Be sure to have the girls get different styles and also different textures, some girls should wear chiffon and others raw silk or lace, for example. Also, don’t be afraid of pattern (Molly Sims did an amazing job incorporating pattern into her bridal party).
